Questions
Most houses are quoted from the number of rooms, how fine the dust is, and how much glass and adhesive there is. As a guide, a small flat often sits in the low hundreds of pounds and a full house after plaster sanding costs more. London access and delicate finishes push the quote up. We price the site you describe, not a flat menu.
The builders clean takes the bulk: debris, plaster dust, paint spots and a safe wipe of fittings. The sparkle is later, after snagging, and is the streak-free glass, chrome and inside-cupboard pass before keys or photos. Booking the sparkle while the builder is still filling holes means paying for it twice.
A single room with light dust can be done with a HEPA vacuum and dry microfibre, working top to bottom. A whole house after sanding usually is not a weekend job: household vacuums exhaust the dust, and a wet mop smears it into new floors.
Plaster dust is still in extracts, radiator fins, curtain tracks and the tops of door linings. If sanding starts again, or the cooker hood was never opened, the film returns. That is a second visit, not a failed first wipe.
No. Light offcuts and packaging can go with the clean. Structural rubble needs a skip. Suspected asbestos stops the visit. We do not cut out silicone, tank a wet room, or seal stone.
