How this visit is done
After a build, floors hold grit that scratches a new finish and plaster that sits in carpet pile. This visit is the floor, not the whole house, unless you add the rest. Send the quote form or WhatsApp for a UK visit.
Grit is vacuumed before any moisture. Carpets get a machine pass suited to the fibre. Hard floors are damp-mopped, not soaked. Paint spots are lifted with a scraper and a solvent that will not strip the finish. We test a hidden edge first.

- We do not guarantee a stain that has sat in wool for months
- We will not flood a newly laid LVT or engineered board
- We do not lift fitted carpets

Price
Priced by floor area and type. Carpet plus plaster is slower than a bare subfloor. A protective film that has glued itself to LVT adds time. Say what the floor is when you enquire.

DIY or a crew
Vacuuming edges with a crevice tool helps. Hiring a carpet machine without knowing the fibre can leave stripes. Do not use a steam mop on waxed boards or uncured adhesive.
How long the result lasts
Grit left in the pile keeps cutting the fibre every time you walk. One proper extraction lasts. A quick hoover does not, because the plaster is under the surface yarns.
Stay off a damp carpet until it is dry. Open a window if the weather is dry. Do not drag unprotected tools across a floor we have just cleared.

Small flecks, often yes, after a test. A wide spill that has cured into the grain may need a floor sander, which we do not do.
We bring equipment for construction dust, which is finer than household dirt. A hired machine with a dirty tank puts the dust back.
Tell us before anyone wets it. Plaster paste is harder to lift than dry dust.
The edge where the floor meets the skirting, yes. A full dust-down of the room is a builders clean, not this visit alone.
